Yesterday (May 26, 2017) was our last full day on the Amalfi Coast. We thought a little relaxing on the beach would be a great start to our day. We went down to the main beach ( the famous one in all the pictures of Positano with the orange umbrellas!) It was so lovely and relaxing. Well... relaxing before the wind aggressively picked up and all the orange umbrellas that were open went flying, and nearly knocked us out. It was actually hilarious after I was done being terrified!
After the beach we quickly got changed into our city clothes and walked around the beautiful town of Positano. Our hotel, Le Sirenuse, is perfect distance for an enjoyable walking experience and so close to everything! But be warned, Positano loves its cobblestone stairs so wear comfortable walking shoes! We had a lovely lunch at this healthy yet delicious place (WHAT first healthy place I have seen in Italy) called Casa e Bottega . I had the chicken tender salad and gordon the grilled salad. It was kind of nice to have American-ish food for a hot second. They also have Italian food so don't worry. We tried their gelato as well and it was fabulous - highly recommend the cappuccino flavor!
For dinner we went to hotel San Pietro de Positano's nice restaurant outside on the balcony. Although this hotel isn't directly in the town, it has a beautiful high view of Positano and it is magical! A great last dinner on the Amalfi.
We ended the night getting a drink at Francos, which is our hotel's bar on the rooftop that plays fun house music and has yummy drinks.
See you all in Rome!
